Waterstone 2014 Census Reptiles-And-Amphibians Gallery

A young Hog-nosed Snake was found basking in the middle of the road, looking like a stick that could get run over by a car. Caretakers picked it up and are keeping it overwinter in a terrarium with dirt, leaves and water, feeding a variety of insects until it will be released back into the wild in the spring.
