• This is one of the 3 or 4 still trapped in the Deer exclusion fence around the homesite, about 60 acres protected along the river and the road.

Rufous Hummingbird

Caretakers are feeding a new mixture of sugar water- 1 part sugar to 3 parts water for this overwintering species. The mixturte will resume to the normal 1 part sugar to 4 parts water for the summer arrivals.

Caretakers put out canned dog food, de-boned roasted chicken and seedless grapes with stems removed.
