  • Raccoons got into Rain Barn, chewed the rope wrapped around the seed can lid, but did not get into the can.
  • Saw Rock Squirrel on front porch

  • Refreshed all Hummingbird feeders
  • Only 3/4" rain, the most rain seen in 8 months
  • Saw 20 deer heading toward feeding area, way too many, began hunting plan for winter.
  • Saw several families of Raccoons at feeding area near porch
  • Added compost and planted Buffalo grass seed in front yard
  • planted "wetland fringe mix" at waterdrip
  • Shot female Brown-headed Cowbird (predaator control)
  • Heard Golden-cheeked Warbler
