• Treated Fire Ants along roads with fresh Award Fire Ant bait,on 3 acres.
• Caretakers note: Keep all Fire Ant bait indoors so that it stays fresh and does not get rancid.
• Removed deep muck from house pond
• Saw Red-winged Black bird
• Saw many Hummingbirds
• Heard Golden-cheeked Warbler in Red Oak grove
• Removed fish from the drying up mud pond and relocated to water tanks to prepare for redesign of pond.
• Saw Black Swallowtail Butterfly
• Watered Red Oak grove and Cedar Elm patch

• Planted seeds in upper pasture cage, Native American Seed blend 'Sustainable Quail and Dove Mix'
• Saw male Turkey with 5 females 
• Treated Fire Ants along the roads with Award growth regulator
• Saw several flocks of Geese flying North
• Saw Armadillo
• Saw Meadowlark in the well pasture

This Western Meadowlark was first seen on the ground well hidden in tall grasses, then it flew up into an Oak Tree.
