- Saw Rock Squirrel collecying seeds that had fallen on the porch from the seed ball
- Arranged rocks and logs on contour to capture rain run off from the new roof at the Tuff Shed building and also in the Tipi pasture
- Saw Fox waiting near the driveway, put out a bowl of dogfood
- Beefed up berm below house
- Began household rain water rain tank cleaning project

- Began Deer hunting to reduce poulations and protect the land from heavy browsing.

- 1.8 inches od rain! A very good slow soak overnight.
- observed erosion, most efforts seem to have been successful

- Saw Devils Cigar Fungus in draw below man-made pond
Devils Cigar Fungus (Chorioactis geaster) was proposed to be the Official State Fungus of Texas in 1997. No such designation has occurred thus far.
