  • Saw two large fallen Amercian Elm trees at river bottom land
  • many dead Ashe Junipers throughout
  • Saw a male and female Painted Bunting
  • relocated wood pile feeding area
  • Refreshed Hummingbird feeders, many hummers! Added 2 more feeders
  • Added mulch to the driveway and roads throuhout

  • arranged logs on the ground on contour for ersion control in recently cleared area
  • Red Oak limb fell as strong north wind blew through
  • many Hummingbirds, around 50, may have come in with the strong wind

  • Raccoons waiting for our arrival at feeding area under house proch
  • Possum waaiting at feeding area in wood pile feeder
  • removed selected Ashe junipers for fire safety
  • refreshed all Hummingbird feeders
  • Skunk at feeding area

  • Finally! A very light misting of rain, unmeasurable, but al least there is something damp on the once dry ground.

  • Shot one male Brown-headed Cowbird
  • Saw Indigo Bunting
  • Heard Canyon Wren
  • Mowed all fields around house due to fire danger because of extreme drought
  • Planned Ashe Juniper removal for fire protection
