VERY HOT So far 10 days past 100 degrees. Everything is very dry!

  • Caretaker heard cows across the river
  • Refilled bird feeders
  • Watered all the plants in the yard
  • Refilled the small Hummingbird feeder because the bees ate it all from yesterday
  • Refilled frog pond again as it evaporates in this very hot weather

June 23 2009

  • Saw a large Owl
  • At dusk heard a Peacock across the river
  • Refreshed all Hummingbird feeders
  • Fed all the critters
  • Refilled man made pond with well water

June 18 2009

  • Many deer, 2 year old and 3 year old buck, and twin fawns. A very newborn with spots seen near back trail close to south fence line.
  • Saw a Cardinal catch and eat a Dragonfly
  • Refilled all bird feeders and refreshed Hummingbird feeders
  • Manually filled man made pond with well water
  • Watered the yard and plants, very dry

  • Saw two Wild Turkeys
  • 3 Raccoons came out from under the porch to eat sunflower seeds
  • Saw Skunk near the house at night
