  • Conservation Easement inspection buy Leigh in the morning

Caretakers note: The Texas Land Conservancy owns the Conservation Easement on watersto_jennystone Nature Preserve. As part of that agreement, the owners allow the TLC inspectors onto the land to simply see that the caretakers are doing what they said they would with regards to activities on the land in compliance with the legal Conservation Easement agreement.

  • Saw a pair of Kingfishers at the River
  • Reviewed erosion control plan after rain
  • Added mulch to driveway in new carport
  • At dusk, saw many (100) moths on Rosemary flowers

  • At the end of Hunting season, shot a total of 7 deer.
  • Saw three dozen Goldfinches with Lesser Goldfinches
  • Saw male Rose Finch
  • Saw three Tom Turkeys
  • Rain! 3.3 inches of rain
  • Saw seven Turkey hens

  • Visitor caught 1/2 foot long Catfish in Blanco River
  • Continued hunting, shot 1 Doe, 2 years old, 100 pounds
  • Shot Doe, 1 year old, 80 pounds
  • Saw ten Wild Turkeys, three Toms and seven hens
