  • Mowed all fields around house due to fire danger because of extreme drought
  • Planned Ashe Juniper removal for fire protection

  • Saw Wren going into nest gourd at Purple Martin house
  • Saw Titmouse going into nest gourd at Purple Martin house
  • Saw Hawk at bird feeding area near house
  • watered all around the house due to fire danger concern

  • While observing dying Ashe Juniper, we found spider webs on the leaves. Spider mites have been damaging the Ashe Juniper trees and this spider was eating the spider mites. Look for the tiny red animal at the edge of the leaf near the center of the photograph.

  • Surveyed South East corner with Oak Wilt treatment, all treated trees are still fine
  • Saw Skunk feeding with the Raccoons at feeding area
  • Saw Rock Squirrell and Gray Squirrell
  • Rain! but only 1/10 inch
