1 1/4 inch rain! Very lush!

Trapped by high flood waters after 3 inch rain in watershed

• Broadcast 1 pound Buffalo grass seed along edge of lower road
• Treated a few fire ant mounds between rains
• Continued feeding hummingbirds 17 feeders around three porches
• Many caterpillars and butterflies

Field of flowers in north pasture. The heavy spring rains allowed for great displays of native flowers as shown in this field. Some species of flowers have never been noticed before.

• Many bugs on Antelope horn and 5 plus Monarch caterpillars
• Saw feral cat (procured Hav-a-Hart trap)

• Planted Boneset at front steps (noticed much deer browse later and added Creeping rosemary next to it)
• Planted 1 pound Buffalo grass seed and raked it in, tipi pasture and front of house
