November 03 2001

  • November and December plans:
    • Finish laying out hay bales on swales
    • Begin erosion control of swales in northeast corner opening
    • Be on the lookout for Johnson grass or other weeds sprouting from bales. Remove them
    • Lay out additional swales below homesite to manage rainwater runoff
    • Remove some more box elders and all chinaberries from river bottom
    • Create swales along river bottom
    • Plant trees
    • Plan bird watch for next spring
